I think the quality of this refurbished unit is very good!! The quality of the picture, and particularly the sound is excellent. I have had other players before, but always experienced problem with the playback with many of the DVD's. I have played 50 or so DVD with no playback issues. Also, the battery life far exceeds any other player I have had in the past. It would venture to say that the battery has a life on a single charge of a minimum of 3 hours!!
