The reason was - the Candidates tournament was taking place in the city and we wanted to cover this major event.

Amruta and I had already decided that if either of us saw him at the venue, then we would leave all our work and just spend our time with him. Who was he? I began to realize that my main problem was not chess understanding. What I really lacked was the ability to calculate variations with precision and without laziness.
