D ATA z. C The Stop Condition is activated when 1. Each byte must be followed by an Acknowledge Bit. The MSB is transmitted first. PT V1. Please refer to the diagram below. The audio processor that has been addressed has to generate an Acknowledge after receiving each byte, otherwise, the SDA Line will remain at the High Level during the ninth 9th Clock Pulse. In this case, the master transmitter can generate the STOP Information in order to abort the transfer.
P transmission may d be used. Wait one clock and do not check the slave acknowledge of this same clock then send the new a data.
If you use this approach, there are greater chances of faulty operation as well as decrease in noise immunity. A Start bit w? A Chip Address Byte? A Data byte w? If the waiting time period is less than ms, I2C Control may fail. The PT function register does not have any default settings.
After clearing the register, an initial value must send in order to each register. If a register does has not been set, it is possible that no sound will be output. When adjusting the volume of PT, it is necessary to send a multiple of 10dB followed by a 1dB code to the attenuator in sequence. If this sequence is not followed, or if only a 10dB or 1dB value is m sent, the IC may not operate normally. Please refer to the diagram below: o Volume setting dBj.

Pages: 2. PT No sound. Hi good fellows. I need you wisdom and wizardry with my project I am trying to use PT for my next amplifier project and its giving me hardtime. I have scanned the address via i2c scanner code thank you Mr. Nick Gammon , firstly the address code is not what was written in datasheet 0x40 instead of 80h as per datasheet am i reading something wrong here Secondly after i found and used some code from this good fellow. I have banged my head around datasheet , but just cant make it run.

EVC Click is a six-channel digital volume controller, equipped with an integrated electronic volume control circuit, which can be controlled over the I2C interface. The PT IC offers six individual input channels, each with the attenuation range between 0 and dB, in 1dB steps.
