LINDELOF PROMETHEUS SCRIPT PDF

Now the earth was formless and empty. The landscape is rugged, volcanic, baron, mountainous and Primordial. Violent wind storms rage through the scenery and the wind itself has a violent, angry and unforgiven sound. The large spacecraft hovers overhead. The flying saucer type craft is weird and Alien in design. As the hovering Craft stops its movements a hatch at the bottom of the craft opens and a large thick blinding laser beam shoots out and the powerful beam penetrates the rocky surface.

Conflict began when Carl Erik Rinsch was selected to direct the Alien prequel film. During the Summer of , Ridley Scott was under contract to direct the Alien prequel film. Jon Spaihts announced in June of that the script was complete and that pre-production would move forward with filming scheduled for January of Ridley Scott contacted Damon Lindelof that same month and requested a review of the concepts included.

By December , the film was to be called Paradise. Ridley Scott communicated that this title would give too much insight into the direction of the film series he planned and another name change took place.

The below analysis is based on a Prometheus draft from March found on this site source. The entire text from each video's narration is provided in the "Description" field underneath. Shaw and Holloway are looking at the S. He reads the scanning report out loud. Some of their history, sir. It appears that these beings can live up to three hundred thousand years old. They use to be able to mate with each other just like humans.

But somewhere in their late history they evolved and lost the ability to both mate and reproduce. But before they did they found a creature that impregnated one of them with a foreign body. A creature came from him. They called it the Deacon. They worshiped this deacon and after it's death they used its blood to plant the seeds of life on other worlds.

The blood ran out of course but they tried to recreate the gene pool of this Deacon's bloodbut they instead created something else. That is what I brought back with me, sir. This may be the only chance I have. There is another thing. One of our vessels that left had a malfunction. The vessel was settled down on the next moon. We have placed it on quarantine. Whilst checking cargo two he was attacked by the planet seeders and thought not to tell anyone.

He shall give birth to a seeder within the next hour. Nothing we can do for him now. We shall continue our journey to Eden and provoke them with rapture thus turning it back to Eden once more. Yes I understood but it's unfortunate that most you people never understood the message. I also read all Religious texts from all religions worldwide and what I found interesting.

Well ironic is the fact that the majority of religious believers don't even follow the rules of their gods and use it as an excuse to kill and hate each other. This draft has been discussed a few times before, while it offers some depth, it does kind of contradict a few clues in Prometheus, there are also a number of mistakes There certainly appeared to be something in the Goo on the Control Panel, Nano Particles at least, it was hard to make out if there are any Hieroglyphs however But David found the substance interesting, and we get the impression this was more than just a Slime So going back to Prometheus, we can see to pull this kind of Special Effect off, may have been a bit hard The Fake Draft adds a few words of Dialog to help explain what Janek was talking about, my Prometheus Re-write i did the same kind of thing very close actually, by adding few words here and there to lessen the Ambiguity But going only by Prometheus and Lindeloffs confirmed draft..

I will add i looked at one of the videos posted explaining the Space Jockey, and the 13 Foot Unsuited and 15ft Suited Engineers Lindeloff had commented before about how the intentions where a taller race, but that got revised down to ft tall as of prior to Shooting etc.

The ft is a good size guide for the Space Jockey, many years ago i had a detailed look and compared scale of the Space Jockey Prop and i concluded the Space Jockey was likely 13ft Tall, no more than 15ft Tops as the Prop Length inc Chair was just over 16ft.

Maybe thats where the ft came from? If the Fan who Edited the Draft had came across discussions on here ;. As far as i am aware Lindeloffs Acknowledged draft does not have a explanation of the scene where Milburn and Fifield discover the piles of Bodies Predator canons?

But back to the subject of those Engineers, indeed they were pilled up and as they said like some kind of Holocaust painting, i had detailed my view on this scene and earlier Engineer Body a long time ago.

Within context to Prometheus But Prometheus had a different route with the Black Goo and the Props were Empty inside makes them lighter and less material used and the Empty suits fits nice with the Black Goo especially if the end result would be similar to what remained of the Sacrificial Engineer. I'm sorry I missed your topic on this script just months ago that covered so much of the main script concepts.

I was most excited about the link to LV Thank you. I went back and researched a little and you had covered this back in going forward a few times. I noticed the quote regarding the "predator" canons and I thought it might be attributed to an early draft of the script Lindelof wrote before Scott's frowned on any Predator mention.

And you're certainly correct regarding a lack of confirmation from Lindelof on the script authenticity. Alien fans looking to know more about Alien: Covenant should check back often. Script Of Prometheus

But was it once a better movie? The film's original script - titled 'Alien: Engineers' - has appeared online and gives us a glimpse of 'Prometheus' before Damon Lindelof got to tinkering with the story. Written by Jon Spaihts who got story credit on 'Prometheus' , 'Alien: Engineers' is very much the groundwork for 'Prometheus. Though 'Alien: Engineers,' as its name would suggest, is very much an 'Alien' movie. Whereas 'Prometheus' was billed as some sort of weirdo prequel-but-not-really-a-prequel of the 'Alien' movies, the 'Alien: Engineers' script is a more direct prequel.
